Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Puthede's Amin Engebretsen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benni Harm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Steen Rinberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Steen Rinberg came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Fårup SIK's Hasan Hildebranner. But to his dismay, Hasan Hildebranner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 10 minutes, Benni Harm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fårup SIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benni Harm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hasan Hildebranner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Steen Rinberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolf Wissmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Valter Nøjd fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fårup SIK's protests and gave Valter Nøjd a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, Fårup SIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Nøjd to maneuver through the defense. Patrik Fuglkjær charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patrik Fuglkjær the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Patrik Fuglkjær hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Benni Harm put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Steen Rinberg. When Amin Engebretsen came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Puthede fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amin Engebretsen couldn't finish the play. Fårup SIK's Hasan Hildebranner got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patrik Fuglkjær hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, Wagner Neesby sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Puthede's Steen Rinberg didn't even have to move. During the 45th minute of the match Valter Nøjd completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Valter Nøjd a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Puthede booed when Fårup SIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valter Nøjd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lavrits Gudsøe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amin Engebretsen in the 52nd minute of play. The supporters of Fårup SIK booed when Puthede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clas Geilager didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steen Rinberg made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Wagner Neesby sent off a good shot on target. Bobby Kolbe kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Fårup SIK's Hasan Hildebranner got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Fårup SIK's goal looked a bit too open when Amin Engebretsen came free, but Lavrits Gudsøe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolf Wissmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Puthede's goalkeeper Steen Rinberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hasan Hildebranner. In the 71st minute, Patrik Fuglkjær hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amin Engebretsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Lavrits Gudsøe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Steen Rinberg managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Fårup SIK's Hasan Hildebranner fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Puthede's Amin Engebretsen in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fårup SIK's goalie prevented a goal. Matias Thørup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steen Rinberg having to interfere. After having played for 91 minutes, Adolf Wissmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a defensive mix-up in Puthede's zone, Hasan Hildebranner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Steen Rinberg came out of the goal and Hasan Hildebranner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Fårup SIK supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fårup SIK would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
