Linaa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bernhard Harrestrup was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Henneby booed when Linaa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinhardt Underlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Kenny Blackett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikki Wedele was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. In the 57th match minute, Henneby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kurt Heldarskard to maneuver through the defense. Nikki Wedele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Owe Breda in the 60th minute of the match. Kenny Blackett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikki Wedele having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Linaa's zone, Owe Breda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nikki Wedele came out of the goal and Owe Breda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Understrup hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Dick Ryggstein's late challenge caught a Linaa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dick Ryggstein helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Bernhard Harrestrup fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 84 played minutes Henneby got a freekick which was hit by René Grantzmann. After a defensive mix-up in Henneby's zone, Bernhard Harrestrup stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Vorhøj came out of the goal and Bernhard Harrestrup tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Linaa's Ulf Retvig nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Vorhøj made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.
