Henneby's Ivan Vorhøj played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Mølmer in the 3rd minute of play. Henneby's Owe Breda got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henning Høvsgaard kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Henneby's Tage Brunbakke broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ivan Vorhøj came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Høsterkøb's Danny Neerdam. But to his dismay, Danny Neerdam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Henneby's zone, Philip Vildbrad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Vorhøj came out of the goal and Philip Vildbrad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mario Rosefalk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenny Blackett in the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owe Breda in the 25th minute of play forced Høsterkøb's goalkeeper Mario Rosefalk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Henneby's Kenny Blackett got a free kick in the 26th minute. Danny Neerdam struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Ivan Vorhøj didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Høsterkøb. 36 minutes into the game, Henning Høvsgaard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Høsterkøb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Henneby the free kick. After 36 played minutes Høsterkøb got a freekick which was hit by Henning Høvsgaard. If Owe Breda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Owe Breda came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Henneby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Owe Breda couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Owe Breda made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danny Neerdam in the 54th minute of play forced Henneby's goalkeeper Ivan Vorhøj to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kurt Heldarskard fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Henneby's protests and gave Kurt Heldarskard a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 minutes, Kenny Blackett mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Henneby and the Høsterkøb players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 57th minute, Kenny Blackett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henning Høvsgaard hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. If Kenny Blackett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Vorhøj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Philip Vildbrad in the 78th minute of the match. Kurt Heldarskard was shown his second yellow card after 79 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Høsterkøb booed when Henneby was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kurt Heldarskard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenny Blackett succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 90th playminute. Kenny Blackett scored 1-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mario Rosefalk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Henneby players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
