Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kay Rese kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Navr's goalkeeper Rudi Gilfelt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 4 played minutes Navr got a freekick which was hit by Tyge Bergishagen. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Fjordmand in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ewald Kesby saved Sarup from getting behind. When Navr's Marcos Fjordmand in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarup's goalie prevented a goal. When Dani Vyrdal came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sarup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dani Vyrdal couldn't finish the play. Tyge Bergishagen kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Navr's Rudi Gilfelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dani Vyrdal in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, Sarup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ib Pietka to maneuver through the defense. Poul Welse kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Dani Vyrdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dani Vyrdal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ulf Rølner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ewald Kesby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ewald Kesby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Fjordmand in the 49th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Fjordmand was the one to do the kick off. Ulf Rølner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sarup's zone, Ulf Rølner stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ewald Kesby came out of the goal and Ulf Rølner tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Marcos Fjordmand came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Navr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Fjordmand couldn't finish the play. Ewald Kesby took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulf Rølner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Sarup defense, Marcos Fjordmand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ewald Kesby. The Sarup fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ewald Kesby should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Navr's Terkil Falensteen got a free kick in the 65th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dani Vyrdal in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rudi Gilfelt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ulf Rølner came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Navr fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulf Rølner couldn't finish the play. Poul Welse hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute Ulf Rølner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ewald Kesby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 82 played minutes Navr got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Fyrsting. Sarup's Mattæus Almtorp got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kay Rese fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudi Gilfelt having to interfere. Ulf Rølner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Navr's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
