Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edgar Søtang took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maarup's Petter Exxon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eskil Esmund in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hvinderup's zone, Anders Capell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinhard Barker came out of the goal and Anders Capell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Eskil Esmund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik Plahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Reinhard Barker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Erik Plahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Reinhard Barker made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Anders Capell sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hvinderup booed when Maarup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Stundsig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petter Exxon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gordon Ravnemose's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Erik Plahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anders Capell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Reinhard Barker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Plahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Maarup getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Fritz Stundsig hit a great ball. Eskil Esmund's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petter Exxon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Gordon Ravnemose hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Ditlev Skovning shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Reinhard Barker showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Petter Exxon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Søtang in the 64th minute of play. Ditlef Kollund charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ditlef Kollund the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Hvinderup's Reinhard Barker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Plahn in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Gunther Ovedal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hvinderup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maarup the free kick. After 72 played minutes Hvinderup got a freekick which was hit by Gunther Ovedal. Edgar Søtang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Petter Exxon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petter Exxon stood somewhat misplaced when Eskil Esmund came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 79 minute. Erik Plahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eskil Esmund got free with Petter Exxon in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Erik Plahn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hvinderup walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
