Torben Mejlsbo made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Olaf Mühle sent off a good shot on target. Jimmy Neermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Torben Mejlsbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Rutsker defense, Aleksander Densted kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Klement Strandvad. The Rutsker fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Klement Strandvad should have stopped the shot. Aleksander Densted fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klement Strandvad having to interfere. If Emil Jamborg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Rutsker's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Jamborg came free, but Klement Strandvad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match Jacob Blanting sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klement Strandvad skillfully saved the ball. Jimmy Neermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Torben Mejlsbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Emil Jamborg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Klement Strandvad. Rutsker's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Jamborg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nigel Draaby during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th match minute, Rutsker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Draaby to maneuver through the defense. If Olaf Mühle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Höjbjærg were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jimmy Neermann made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jimmy Neermann in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Torben Mejlsbo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Aleksander Densted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rutsker's Klement Strandvad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksander Densted in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Höjbjærg's Aleksander Densted dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Olaf Mühle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torben Mejlsbo having to interfere. Klement Strandvad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksander Densted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 77th minute, Jimmy Neermann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Höjbjærg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aslak Blæsgaard to maneuver through the defense. Aslak Blæsgaard struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Klement Strandvad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Höjbjærg. Aslak Blæsgaard came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Klement Strandvad could save by the left post. Olaf Mühle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torben Mejlsbo having to interfere. Jimmy Neermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Olaf Mühle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rutsker fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Höjbjærg walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
