Höjbjærg's Torben Mejlsbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Wifstrand in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Aleksander Densted got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eddy Coltau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aleksander Densted in the 10th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Killerup's Godtfred Trodyb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Torben Mejlsbo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Torben Mejlsbo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godtfred Trodyb in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Höjbjærg defense, Godtfred Trodyb kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Torben Mejlsbo. The Höjbjærg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Torben Mejlsbo should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Aleksander Densted was the one to do the kick off. Godtfred Trodyb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Torben Mejlsbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terri Rødsten hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Eddy Coltau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emil Jamborg, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Torben Mejlsbo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. William Wifstrand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Torben Mejlsbo having to interfere.
