Bob Nerup started the match with the kick off. Bob Nerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sigurd Karnov came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Bjørnstrup fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sigurd Karnov couldn't finish the play. Teodor Ringmacher took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sigfried Jogvansson. Bjørnstrup's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bob Nerup fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfried Jogvansson having to interfere. Bob Nerup sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henry Vaisham hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ruben Klawonn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Godthåb booed when Bjørnstrup was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sigurd Karnov didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Bjørnstrup booed when Godthåb was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Einar Essenfeld didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ruben Klawonns short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Sigfried Jogvansson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bjørnstrup's Sigfried Jogvansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Nerup in the 32nd minute of play. Sigurd Karnov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Kenney Hartzner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigurd Karnov in the 42nd minute of play forced Godthåb's goalkeeper Kenney Hartzner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Jochum Ridal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenney Hartzner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bob Nerup managed to get in a good position for a shot. Godthåb's supporters rose to their feet, but Bob Nerup was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sigfried Jogvansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sigurd Karnov made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Ruben Klawonn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Godthåb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Godthåb's Kenney Hartzner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Godthåb from getting a goal against them. Ruben Klawonn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfried Jogvansson having to interfere. Sigfried Jogvansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bob Nerup in the 67th minute of play. Bob Nerup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Klawonn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sigfried Jogvansson having to interfere. Ruben Klawonn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Sigfried Jogvansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigfried Jogvansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Nerup in the 85th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Klawonn in the 87th minute of play forced Bjørnstrup's goalkeeper Sigfried Jogvansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenney Hartzner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigurd Karnov in the 94th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bjørnstrup players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Godthåb.
