Runar Elbrønd started the match with the kick off. Hagbard Frilund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Evers in the 7th minute of play. The supporters of Højsten booed when Tyvstofte AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Helge Albeck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronnie Glenholm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Krestoffer Ungermand made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, Tyvstofte AC's goal looked a bit too open when Runar Elbrønd came free, but Krestoffer Ungermand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Helge Albeck in the 15th minute of play forced Højsten's goalkeeper Hagbard Frilund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Højsten fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Højsten's Runar Elbrønd looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ronnie Glenholms short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Krestoffer Ungermand to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The nice shot from Ronnie Glenholm in the 33rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Krestoffer Ungermand had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. If Runar Elbrønd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, Højsten's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Evers came free, but Hagbard Frilund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronnie Glenholm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Krestoffer Ungermand having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Helge Albeck made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Runar Elbrønd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Krestoffer Ungermand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Krestoffer Ungermand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronnie Glenholm in the 55th minute of play. Runar Elbrønd took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Krestoffer Ungermand. Krestoffer Ungermand dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. In the 62nd minute, Runar Elbrønd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hagbard Frilund made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Fred Evers sent off a good shot on target. In the 65thth minute of the game Ronnie Glenholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tyvstofte AC's Krestoffer Ungermand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Krestoffer Ungermand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Runar Elbrønd in the 67th minute of play. If Runar Elbrønd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Runar Elbrønd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Krestoffer Ungermand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
