Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stefan Sandergaard got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute Stefan Sandergaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Ellemand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mariager IF's Franz Ellemand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volmer Dangreen in the 8th minute of play. Franz Ellemand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Tangsted in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Stefan Sandergaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kongstrup AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, Mariager IF's Andre Sauvr made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konrad Aulbjerg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariager IF's Franz Ellemand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stefan Sandergaard in the 20th minute of play. A throw-in in the 21st minute of the game was made by Gunner Modan with Ivar Tangsted as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Mariager IF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kongstrup AC:s goal. Asger Hjarnis shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivar Tangsted in the 31st minute of play forced Mariager IF's goalkeeper Franz Ellemand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Volmer Dangreen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kongstrup AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. In the 36th match minute, Mariager IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Saxil to maneuver through the defense. Kongstrup AC's Stefan Sandergaard got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Franz Ellemand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volmer Dangreen in the 45th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eskil Bastheim was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ivar Tangsted left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kongstrup AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Eskil Bastheim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute, Stefan Sandergaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes into the game, Kongstrup AC's Ivar Tangsted nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franz Ellemand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Volmer Dangreen got free with Franz Ellemand in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andre Sauvr fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konrad Aulbjerg having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Kongstrup AC! Kongstrup AC:s Konrad Aulbjerg showed great skill when he stopped Diego Holsmose:s penalty. A collision led to Kongstrup AC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Nis Biil hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Gunner Modan in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mariager IF's Diego Holsmose. Andre Sauvr recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Franz Ellemand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Volmer Dangreen, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Mariager IF were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Kongstrup AC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Diego Holsmose took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Kongstrup AC's goalie and right to Al Skarborg. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Kongstrup AC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mariager IF's Franz Ellemand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Mariager IF from getting a goal against them. Andre Sauvr charged in rather forcefully in the 98th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andre Sauvr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mariager IF's Andre Sauvr got a free kick in the 98th minute. When the match was over Kongstrup AC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mariager IF throughout the match.
