Frederik Hylsebeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Héctor Quintero, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Bobby Søndermand dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paw Nibelvang, 1-0. Paw Nibelvang made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Jimmi Zane sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, FC Gamla Stan's Paw Nibelvang got control of the ball when Jimmi Zane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teddi Suutari in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frederik Hylsebeck prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Paw Nibelvang stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andrea Brejnebøl's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Tonny Enander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paw Nibelvang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Héctor Quintero in the 24th minute of play forced Refstrup's goalkeeper Frederik Hylsebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paw Nibelvang was a little too slow when Andrea Brejnebøl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. Frederik Hylsebeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michel Torres in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddi Suutari in the 33rd minute of play forced Refstrup's goalkeeper Frederik Hylsebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frederik Hylsebeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michel Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrea Brejnebøl couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

After having played for 56 minutes, Tonny Enander managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Refstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tonny Enander was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teddi Suutari scored 2-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frederik Hylsebeck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th match minute, Refstrup was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nigel Darlet to maneuver through the defense. Teddi Suutari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frederik Hylsebeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teddi Suutari, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The audience was convinced that Héctor Quintero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frederik Hylsebeck was relentless in the 71st minute of the game.
