Wawrzyniec Walicki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Al Bundy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 16 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Shi Xiang Zhi sped through Esbjerg fB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wawrzyniec Walicki. 19 minutes into the match, Esbjerg fB's goal looked a bit too open when Ging Gang came free, but Wawrzyniec Walicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pelle Hvidegaard hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Wawrzyniec Walicki stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shi Xiang Zhi's shot from short distance in the 21st minute.
