Clemens Sellmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ingemar Bayer, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Derk Gingold came free in the 23rd minute and tried to tip the ball over Claus Euskirchen, but to the joy of Boyda's supporters the ball went over. When Heinrich Vielmann came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Dragons Lair fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Heinrich Vielmann couldn't finish the play. Dragons Lair's attentive Heinrich Vielmann managed to snatch the ball when Maik Häss made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aydin Trachsel in the 45th minute of play forced Dragons Lair's goalkeeper Clemens Sellmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ingemar Bayer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Clemens Sellmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Dragons Lair players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Boyda were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Heinrich Vielmann made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Dragons Lair's Clemens Sellmann got control of the ball when Aydin Trachsel tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Dragons Lair getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Derk Gingold hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Boyda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maik Häss to maneuver through the defense. Derk Gingold fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 68th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Aydin Trachsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Dragons Lair's Clemens Sellmann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Dragons Lair from getting a goal against them. Clemens Sellmann came out of the goal and Ingemar Bayer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute of the match, Ingemar Bayer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Clemens Sellmann saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Boyda's Ingemar Bayer in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragons Lair's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Boyda booed when Dragons Lair was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heinrich Vielmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dragons Lair manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Boyda to win.
