Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mehmet Dürre got the match started through his kick off. Robert Bayer's late challenge caught a 1. FC Luma's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Bayer helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Herberath's Robert Bayer got a free kick in the 7th minute. 1. FC Luma's Benjamin Selke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulf Vieth in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steffen-Julian Rehmer in the 16th minute of play forced 1. FC Luma's goalkeeper Benjamin Selke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Ulf Vieth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Selke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benjamin Selke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen-Julian Rehmer in the 23rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Georg Kleine in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boris Ziffzer saved Herberath from getting behind. Mehmet Dürre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Ziffzer having to interfere. Clemens Degdau hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ulf Vieth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herberath's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulf Vieth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Selke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Steffen-Julian Rehmer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the 1. FC Luma defense, Steffen-Julian Rehmer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin Selke. The 1. FC Luma fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin Selke should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Selke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulf Vieth in the 37th minute of the match. Herberath's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Mehmet Dürre scored to the left of an out of position Boris Ziffzer, making the score, 1-1. If Ulf Vieth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Steffen-Julian Rehmer came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Herberath fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steffen-Julian Rehmer couldn't finish the play. Herberath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steffen-Julian Rehmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emmo Krimm charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emmo Krimm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steffen-Julian Rehmer in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benjamin Selke saved 1. FC Luma from getting behind. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind 1. FC Luma's goalkeeper Benjamin Selke, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Herberath booed when 1. FC Luma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmo Krimm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boris Ziffzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Dürre in the 85th minute of play. 1. FC Luma's Benjamin Selke proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save 1. FC Luma from getting a goal against them. 90 minutes into the game, 1. FC Luma's Mehmet Dürre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Boris Ziffzer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 95 minutes into the match, 1. FC Luma's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen-Julian Rehmer came free, but Benjamin Selke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Steffen-Julian Rehmer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Benjamin Selke. The goal made the score 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
