After a rather tough play, seko's Bonifatius Imort got a free kick in the 30th minute. Karl Meise made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Descharmes in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Rainer Regitz notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Fenerbahce SK's Karl Meise. Karl Meise was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice moves Ilja Hundt could shoot a difficult shot in the 39th minute, which Oskar Elmer however easily saved by the left post. Oskar Elmer was a little too slow when Ilja Hundt got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 39th minute. The score was now 2-2. If Rob Millar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karl Meise showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atze Kubisch, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Karl Meise stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atze Kubisch's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
