Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Patrick Heiden notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of 1. FC Shuriaz's Delf Mann. Delf Mann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 10 minutes into the match, Vélez Sarsfield's Patrick Heiden sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delf Mann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in 1. FC Shuriaz's zone, Rolf Salewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delf Mann came out of the goal and Rolf Salewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute of the match Luke List shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Delf Mann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick Heiden in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delf Mann saved 1. FC Shuriaz from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Heiden in the 22nd minute of play forced 1. FC Shuriaz's goalkeeper Delf Mann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vélez Sarsfield's Rudolf Eck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörg Hübner in the 27th minute of play. Rudolf Eck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jörg Hübner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolf Salewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delf Mann having to interfere. Goran Mackowiak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Delf Mann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1. FC Shuriaz's Delf Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Salewski in the 42nd minute of play. After the first half Vélez Sarsfield were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jörg Hübner was the one to do the kick off. Rudolf Eck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hendrik Kleffel in the 52nd minute of the match. 1. FC Shuriaz's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobias Dey in the 55th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Tarkan Rainer got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-1. 55 minutes into the match. A collision led to 1. FC Shuriaz getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eitel Breitschuster hit a great ball. Patrick Heiden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Delf Mann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-1 became the score in the 65th minute when Jörg Hübner elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, 1. FC Shuriaz's Delf Mann got control of the ball when Patrick Heiden tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eitel Breitschuster during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eitel Breitschuster hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Patrick Heiden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to 1. FC Shuriaz getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Paul Boehnke hit a great ball. Fabian Kapzan got in the 77th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Delf Mann. This was a shot which ended in a score of 2-2. Hendrik Kleffel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Eck having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vélez Sarsfield's Dieter Korkus got a free kick in the 84th minute. Rolf Salewski might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Delf Mann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rolf Salewski ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
