Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dennis Weinert got the match started through his kick off. Dennis Weinert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Espen Mackenstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rastatt's goalkeeper Espen Mackenstein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dennis Weinert struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Espen Mackenstein didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SPVGG Oelde. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolai Bauer got free with Espen Mackenstein in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dennis Weinert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SPVGG Oelde's Mika Hoersch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Manske in the 32nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erhard König in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mika Hoersch saved SPVGG Oelde from getting behind. Felix Maurer's late challenge caught a Rastatt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Maurer helped the player get up and apologised. Felix Maurer hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Erhard König struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Mika Hoersch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rastatt. Bastian Manske fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mika Hoersch having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erhard König to strike the kick off in the second half. When Wilhelm Ziervogel fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rastatt's protests and gave Wilhelm Ziervogel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd minute, Wilhelm Ziervogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rastatt's Espen Mackenstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolai Bauer in the 63rd minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Bastian Manske had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mika Hoersch. SPVGG Oelde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bastian Manske was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 78 minutes into the match, Rastatt's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolai Bauer came free, but Espen Mackenstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nicolai Bauer, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Espen Mackenstein was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 83 played minutes SPVGG Oelde got a freekick which was hit by Alfons von Rumohr. 86 minutes into the match, Rastatt's Erhard König sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mika Hoersch narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Erhard König sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of SPVGG Oelde booed when Rastatt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Connor Lettinger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 played minutes, SPVGG Oelde's Alfons von Rumohr shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Espen Mackenstein came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SPVGG Oelde reached it. After 93 played minutes SPVGG Oelde got a freekick which was hit by Dennis Weinert. In the 94th match minute, Rastatt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bozo Krey to maneuver through the defense. Espen Mackenstein came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by SPVGG Oelde's Dennis Weinert. But to his dismay, Dennis Weinert quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
