The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dennis Weinert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Garener Nieholt FSV's goalkeeper Renato Kirschner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolai Bauer. In the 60th minute, Ewald Kurz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garener Nieholt FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erich Weinmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mika Hoersch made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ewald Kurz in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, SPVGG Oelde's goal looked a bit too open when Gregor Besken came free, but Mika Hoersch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Levan Bartels hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind SPVGG Oelde's goalkeeper Mika Hoersch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
