Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eckard Schink started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Eckard Schink took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leo Busch. Leo Busch dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Lützen Fighters's Henrik Fickert got control of the ball when Scott Fritz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eckard Schink received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Leo Busch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute Edmund Bankesch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leo Busch saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Achaz Niederkirchner in the 33rd minute of play forced Lützen Fighters's goalkeeper Henrik Fickert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Scott Fritz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Henrik Fickert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Achaz Niederkirchner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Alexei Baston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lützen Fighters's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexei Baston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 42 minutes, Alexei Baston mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lützen Fighters and the Schönberger Kickers players grew even worse after the yellow card. 44 minutes in the game, Achaz Niederkirchner dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Gerold Plaßhenrich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Achaz Niederkirchner was the one to do the kick off. Zaman Renfordt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Achaz Niederkirchner in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrik Fickert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 62 played minutes Lützen Fighters got a freekick which was hit by Bastien Erler. After a defensive mix-up in Schönberger Kickers's zone, Edmund Bankesch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Busch came out of the goal and Edmund Bankesch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Achaz Niederkirchner came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Schönberger Kickers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achaz Niederkirchner couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eckard Schink in the 71st minute of play forced Schönberger Kickers's goalkeeper Leo Busch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmund Bankesch came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Leo Busch could save by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eckard Schink in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Busch saved Schönberger Kickers from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Schönberger Kickers's Hellmut Raeder got a free kick in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Schönberger Kickers's zone, Eckard Schink stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Busch came out of the goal and Eckard Schink tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Schönberger Kickers's goalkeeper Leo Busch, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Gerold Plaßhenrich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 99 minutes Lützen Fighters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fridolin Sinning who took care of the corner kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
