They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hendrik Klingler was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, barsa01's goalkeeper Albert Zellier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erik Teucke. Merenberg FSV's Uri Staubach got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Merenberg FSV getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ole Sewerin hit a great ball. Eckhard Haaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Zellier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alban Wohlleben in the 94th minute of the match. The barsa01 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Merenberg FSV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
