Davor Spiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hartmut Hartmann in the 5th minute of the match. When Stuart Holzapfel came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Poppenwind fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stuart Holzapfel couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Poppenwind booed when Westring FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ansgar Naumann didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Stuart Holzapfel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Davor Spiro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Yannik Schomburg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hartmut Hartmann in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davor Spiro saved Westring FSV from getting behind. René Neumann kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ansgar Naumann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Poppenwind's Gismund de Kok played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ansgar Naumann in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Westring FSV getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Fynn Siepen hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Stuart Holzapfel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davor Spiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Hartmut Hartmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gismund de Kok showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yannik Schomburg, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Hartmut Hartmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ansgar Naumann got free with Gismund de Kok in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ansgar Naumann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hartmut Hartmann scored 3-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Davor Spiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Poppenwind were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Westring FSV for a fine match.
