Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wilhelm Tackmann got the match started through his kick off. Rio Gütermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erich Geyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Zsack in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Itaros's Wilhelm Tackmann got a free kick in the 11th minute. Takeshi Chakravorty took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 13th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Erich Geyer. FC Itaros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Rio Gütermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Scott Gölz made a precise shot to the right of Erich Geyer. FC Itaros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Rio Gütermann struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Erich Geyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hochspeyer FSV. In the 34th minute Nils Zsack shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erich Geyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erich Geyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rio Gütermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Nils Zsack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hochspeyer FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nils Zsack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Itaros's zone, Rio Gütermann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erich Geyer came out of the goal and Rio Gütermann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolf Schuster in the 41st minute of play forced FC Itaros's goalkeeper Erich Geyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Gütermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erich Geyer came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Hochspeyer FSV's Rio Gütermann. But to his dismay, Rio Gütermann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Nils Zsack made the kick off in the second half. FC Itaros's Erich Geyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claude Rühle in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Rolf Schuster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erich Geyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rio Gütermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nils Zsack received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Erich Geyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Günter Müller kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Hernan Mühlfenzl's late challenge caught a Hochspeyer FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Mühlfenzl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Hernan Mühlfenzl hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Takeshi Chakravorty was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rio Gütermann struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Erich Geyer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hochspeyer FSV. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nils Zsack in the 77th minute of play forced FC Itaros's goalkeeper Erich Geyer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Gütermann's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Erich Geyer skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Erich Geyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolf Schuster, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute of the match, Rolf Schuster tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erich Geyer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Erich Geyer made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Claude Rühle sent off a good shot on target. Hochspeyer FSV's Rio Gütermann got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, FC Itaros's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Zsack came free, but Erich Geyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Nils Zsack got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes Nils Zsack rounded FC Itaros's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-5. The FC Itaros fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Hochspeyer FSV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
