Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roman Holst started the match with the kick off. After 5 minutes, Bernd Kraatz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the USAK SPOR 1979 and the Giglberg FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ergün Sutanto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Leon Razavi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, USAK SPOR 1979's Erik Canel got a free kick in the 7th minute. Jakob Hell took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leon Razavi. USAK SPOR 1979's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Max Engel kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Giglberg FC's Matthias Phillip got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Giglberg FC's Matthias Phillip nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Razavi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Roman Holst came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the USAK SPOR 1979 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Holst couldn't finish the play. Ergün Sutanto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthias Phillip fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Razavi having to interfere. 35 minutes into the game, one of USAK SPOR 1979:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. USAK SPOR 1979:s Leon Razavi showed great skill when he stopped Jakob Hell:s penalty. Giglberg FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jakob Hell in the 38th minute. A well done corner resulted in Jakob Hell drilling the ball in to score 0-2 behind USAK SPOR 1979's goalkeeper. The referee felt a red card was in order, 42 minutes into the game, when Joerg-Uwe Wohlleben put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Giglberg FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Eugen Kraienbarg went to the wrong direction when Max Engel was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After 47 minutes of play, USAK SPOR 1979's Frithjof Frentzen made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugen Kraienbarg was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matthias Phillip to strike the kick off in the second half. Roman Holst fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugen Kraienbarg having to interfere. Eugen Kraienbarg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Holst in the 64th minute of the match. Giglberg FC's Eugen Kraienbarg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frithjof Frentzen in the 66th minute of play. After 68 played minutes Giglberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Philipp Schiersand. Eugen Kraienbarg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frithjof Frentzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute Roman Holst shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Kraienbarg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to USAK SPOR 1979 getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Vincent Tenhagen hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Matthias Phillip managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giglberg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthias Phillip was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Razavi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With his leg Leon Razavi managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Giglberg FC's Matthias Phillip fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 82nd minute, Roman Holst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Matthias Phillip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Teuwen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Razavi having to interfere. When Philipp Schiersand came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Giglberg FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Philipp Schiersand couldn't finish the play. Leon Razavi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matthias Phillip in the 97th minute. Giglberg FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
