Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Uwe Tengstedt took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th match minute, FC Philcity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernhard Steffel to maneuver through the defense. Dimitar Schlagbauer hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Wolfgang Baston showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uwe Tengstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dimitar Schlagbauer got free with Wolfgang Baston in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Winfried Thiele hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Dimitar Schlagbauer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Uwe Tengstedt might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wolfgang Baston. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uwe Tengstedt ran back to his position shaking his head. Uwe Tengstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Wolfgang Baston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernhard Steffel took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnd Behrens. Arnd Behrens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Placido Hobbes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the match, Angersbach's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Hobbes came free, but Arnd Behrens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 31 minutes into the game, Dimitar Schlagbauer recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wolfgang Baston. Dimitar Schlagbauer showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Dimitar Schlagbauer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Wolfgang Baston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uwe Tengstedt in the 44th minute of play forced FC Philcity's goalkeeper Wolfgang Baston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Uwe Tengstedt recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wolfgang Baston. Uwe Tengstedt showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernhard Steffel was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Dimitar Schlagbauer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wolfgang Baston saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Uwe Tengstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dimitar Schlagbauer came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Angersbach fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitar Schlagbauer couldn't finish the play. Wolfgang Baston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitar Schlagbauer in the 65th minute of play. Arnd Behrens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Placido Hobbes in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Lothar Lautenbach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angersbach's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Philcity the free kick. The supporters of FC Philcity booed when Angersbach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lothar Lautenbach didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Dimitar Schlagbauer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angersbach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitar Schlagbauer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dimitar Schlagbauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wolfgang Baston having to interfere. Uwe Tengstedt scored 4-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wolfgang Baston, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
