The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Simon Kalb struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosius Zellner in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jack Mühlenberg saved Fc Liverpool from getting behind. Jack Mühlenberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ambrosius Zellner went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Fc Liverpool defense, Ambrosius Zellner kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jack Mühlenberg. The Fc Liverpool fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jack Mühlenberg should have stopped the shot. Benno Zeitler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Mühlenberg having to interfere. Jack Mühlenberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bert Raucher in the 30th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bert Raucher got free with Jack Mühlenberg in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Benno Zeitler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Ambrosius Zellner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rinthe FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ambrosius Zellner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jack Mühlenberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ambrosius Zellner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th match minute, Rinthe FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc-Dominic Nieth to maneuver through the defense. Götz Mostert struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Ernst Bockholt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Liverpool. After having played for 45 minutes, Lajos Klöser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Liverpool's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lajos Klöser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ambrosius Zellner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Mühlenberg having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ambrosius Zellner was the one to do the kick off. Benno Zeitler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Mühlenberg having to interfere. Lajos Klöser received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ernst Bockholt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Fc Liverpool booed when Rinthe FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bodo John didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Kalb got free with Ernst Bockholt in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Simon Kalb could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Ernst Bockholt made a huge save. Rinthe FC's Ernst Bockholt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Rinthe FC from getting a goal against them. Bert Raucher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Mühlenberg having to interfere.
