When Tammo Bachmayr came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Volkstedt FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tammo Bachmayr couldn't finish the play. Samson Hattermann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Milenko Heyse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Kornelius Freiherr dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Samson Hattermann to strike the kick off in the second half. Jonas Otters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kornelius Freiherr having to interfere. When Samson Hattermann came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Aschauteiche FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samson Hattermann couldn't finish the play. Aschauteiche FC's Damir Block shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Milenko Heyse but with some difficulty. Dino List fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milenko Heyse having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Volkstedt FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gernot Bechtold to maneuver through the defense. The Volkstedt FSV fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Volkstedt FSV's Tammo Bachmayr looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Jonas Otters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samson Hattermann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milenko Heyse having to interfere. Milenko Heyse was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Milenko Heyse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samson Hattermann in the 92nd minute of play. After 96 played minutes Volkstedt FSV got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Blömeke. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Volkstedt FSV had won after a very even match.
