Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Frohnschwenden's Wilfried Mantovan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Wilfried Mantovan put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lukasz Nowak. Wilfried Mantovan kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. If Holger Bermel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lukasz Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfried Mantovan in the 20th minute of play. After 22 played minutes, Frohnschwenden's Gregor Kardell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lukasz Nowak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Frohnschwenden reached it. 39 minutes into the match, Holger Bermel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dirk-Justus Thoroe, 2-1. Nils Bermanseder kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Lukasz Nowak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfried Mantovan in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, Helge Ansmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jakob Kobe during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Jakob Kobe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Frohnschwenden were awarded a corner. Gregor Kardell went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Frohnschwenden's Gregor Kardell to fire away a dangerous shot which Lukasz Nowak despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Helge Ansmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Dirk-Justus Thoroe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dirk-Justus Thoroe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Holger Bermel's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Lukasz Nowak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfried Mantovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Kleingladbach's goal looked a bit too open when Thaddäus Bader came free, but Lukasz Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute Holger Bermel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dirk-Justus Thoroe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Holger Bermel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dirk-Justus Thoroe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Frohnschwenden's Dirk-Justus Thoroe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Bermel in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Holger Bermel made a precise shot to the right of Dirk-Justus Thoroe. Frohnschwenden's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 93 minutes into the match, Kleingladbach's goalkeeper Lukasz Nowak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivica Höhne. Frohnschwenden's Dirk-Justus Thoroe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Holger Bermel in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Kleingladbach had won after a very even match.
