Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Bert Prinz made the kick off and thus started the match. Helstorf FSV's Nikolaos Kosche got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Kleingladbach got a freekick which was hit by Leopold Menzner. Nikolaos Kosche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albrecht Brennecke kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Helge Ansmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Daniel Wollberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Kleingladbach's goal looked a bit too open when Bert Prinz came free, but Lukasz Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikolaos Kosche in the 31st minute of play forced Kleingladbach's goalkeeper Lukasz Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bert Prinz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helge Ansmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Daniel Wollberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bert Prinz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukasz Nowak having to interfere. After 44 played minutes, Kleingladbach's Raoul Abälard shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Wollberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Kleingladbach reached it. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Holger Bermel made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasso Timmermann in the 51st minute of play forced Kleingladbach's goalkeeper Lukasz Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bert Prinz in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lukasz Nowak saved Kleingladbach from getting behind. 55 minutes into the game, Albrecht Brennecke was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Helstorf FSV's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kleingladbach the free kick. A collision led to Helstorf FSV getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Albrecht Brennecke hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bert Prinz in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lukasz Nowak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Holger Bermel in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Wollberg saved Helstorf FSV from getting behind. In the 63rd match minute, Helstorf FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markus Dramsch to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Helstorf FSV's Lukasz Nowak threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Bert Prinz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Helge Ansmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Daniel Wollberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute Bert Prinz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukasz Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Pittscheidt hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Bert Prinz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lukasz Nowak came out and tried to block the shot, but Bert Prinz slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 82nd minute. After a rather tough play, Kleingladbach's Simon Pittscheidt got a free kick in the 86th minute. 88 minutes into the match, Kleingladbach's goalkeeper Lukasz Nowak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nikolaos Kosche. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Prinz in the 89th minute of play forced Kleingladbach's goalkeeper Lukasz Nowak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th match minute, Helstorf FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peter Wengle to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Wollberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helge Ansmann in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Helstorf FSV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
