Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Barchel's Montgomery Obermann started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Montgomery Obermann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Wolters read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. After 5 played minutes S.S. Lazio Rom got a freekick which was hit by Botho Hempel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Montgomery Obermann in the 6th minute of play forced S.S. Lazio Rom's goalkeeper Tobias Wolters to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Wolters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pascal Fydrich, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After 11 minutes of play, Barchel's Pascal Fydrich made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Wolters was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 19 played minutes Barchel got a freekick which was hit by Torsten Harf. When Karim Sckerl came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the S.S. Lazio Rom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karim Sckerl couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascal Fydrich in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tobias Wolters prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tobias Wolters made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montgomery Obermann in the 27th minute of play. Tobias Wolters showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Montgomery Obermann in the 30th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 44 played minutes S.S. Lazio Rom got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Frei. Botho Hempel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Julius Hesse made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karim Sckerl in the 54th minute of play forced Barchel's goalkeeper Gregor Hauffen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of S.S. Lazio Rom booed when Barchel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Götz Rögele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gregor Hauffen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Hesse in the 58th minute of play. Botho Hempel kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Julius Hesse's late challenge caught a Barchel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 65 minutes, Pascal Fydrich managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barchel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascal Fydrich was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascal Fydrich in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tobias Wolters, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Montgomery Obermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, S.S. Lazio Rom's goal looked a bit too open when Montgomery Obermann came free, but Tobias Wolters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Götz Rögele hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. If Montgomery Obermann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pascal Fydrich came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Barchel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascal Fydrich couldn't finish the play. If Götz Rögele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Barchel's Pascal Fydrich slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tobias Wolters. That made the score 0-3 after 95 minutes of play.
