Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tyler Meininger made the kick off and thus started the match. Watzum FC's Danilo Obser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karsten Gelb in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Karsten Gelb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Obser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Faul who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 10thth minute tested the skills of Danilo Obser when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Peter Faul could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Danilo Obser made a huge save. Karsten Gelb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Danilo Obser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the game, Peter Faul cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Danilo Obser was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Watzum FC booed when FC Simon 1978 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georg Fuhrmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. When FC Simon 1978's Karsten Gelb in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Watzum FC's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Tyler Meininger managed to get in a good position for a shot. Watzum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tyler Meininger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Igor Heinekamp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peter Faul recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Karsten Gelb took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Danilo Obser to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karsten Gelb to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Watzum FC's Tyler Meininger got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Karsten Gelb struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Danilo Obser didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Simon 1978. Karsten Gelb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Danilo Obser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Peter Faul notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Watzum FC's Danilo Obser. Danilo Obser was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Danilo Obser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karsten Gelb, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute FC Simon 1978 were awarded a corner. Mesut Hirtzel went to the cornerflag to take it. FC Simon 1978's Mesut Hirtzel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Danilo Obser in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Peter Faul put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Danilo Obser. Watzum FC's Danilo Obser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karsten Gelb in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Watzum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Gelb came free, but Danilo Obser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Karsten Gelb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute of the match André Kammer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Danilo Obser skillfully saved the ball. Igor Heinekamp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler Meininger, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Tyler Meininger notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of FC Simon 1978's Igor Heinekamp. Igor Heinekamp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Peter Faul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Danilo Obser tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Watzum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karsten Gelb came free, but Danilo Obser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Simon 1978 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Watzum FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
