In the 4th match minute, Dillmannshof was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Peters to maneuver through the defense. Hjalmar Vollath recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wolfgang Rübin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dylan Lazu having to interfere. Lucian Batsch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Piero Zinn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dylan Lazu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee ignored SG Arnstadt's protests and gave Klaus Mohrlang a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, SG Arnstadt's Klaus Mohrlang got a free kick in the 26th minute. Dylan Lazu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Batsch in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Dillmannshof booed when SG Arnstadt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johann Sorg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dylan Lazu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Batsch in the 30th minute of the match. SG Arnstadt's Hjalmar Vollath got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucian Batsch made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karsten Jörn in the 51st minute of play forced Dillmannshof's goalkeeper Johannes Lösch to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Björn Schwienheer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 60th minute when Björn Neuforn elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucian Batsch in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dylan Lazu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dylan Lazu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucian Batsch's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. When Abbe Löbe came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Dillmannshof fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abbe Löbe couldn't finish the play. Björn Neuforn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Lucian Batsch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dillmannshof's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucian Batsch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Lazu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Dillmannshof booed when SG Arnstadt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Björn Schwienheer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Björn Neuforn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes Lösch having to interfere. Johannes Lösch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hjalmar Vollath, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. In the 89th minute, one of SG Arnstadt:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SG Arnstadt. After 94 minutes, Abbe Löbe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dillmannshof and the SG Arnstadt players grew even worse after the yellow card. Johannes Lösch took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Neuforn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
