Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gernot Berntsen got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Artur Ibrügger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leo Schütt. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. After a rather tough play, 1.FC Beckum's Alexander Kahl got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levin Meise in the 16th minute of play forced Scherndorf FSV's goalkeeper Max Kasik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute Angelo Merkel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Kasik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 21 in the game by Gernot Berntsen from a close distance when the talented Leo Schütt managed to make a qualified save. 1.FC Beckum's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gernot Berntsen got free with Leo Schütt in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gernot Berntsen who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Leo Schütt when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Leo Schütt made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Artur Ibrügger sent off a good shot on target. Scherndorf FSV's Gernot Berntsen got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gernot Berntsen in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leo Schütt saved 1.FC Beckum from getting behind. Artur Ibrügger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zacharias Pinkawa made a kick off. When Antonio Zapf came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Scherndorf FSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Zapf couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Scherndorf FSV booed when 1.FC Beckum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bero Itzerott didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th play minute Günther Ruhmland came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Max Kasik. 1-1. In the 62nd minute, Levin Meise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Gernot Berntsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scherndorf FSV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Scherndorf FSV's Christian Bullinger was substituted for Gernot Berntsen. Herwig Dogan hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Scherndorf FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Levin Meise came free, but Max Kasik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
