Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gus Petig started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes, Philipp-Marc Störmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mulartshütte FC and the Pütz players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pütz booed when Mulartshütte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philipp-Marc Störmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michael Kludig showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gus Petig, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The supporters of Mulartshütte FC booed when Pütz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jockel Kapp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Mulartshütte FC defense, Fritz Wehrmann kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michael Kludig. The Mulartshütte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michael Kludig should have stopped the shot. 18 minutes into the game, Andreas Mertens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mulartshütte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pütz the free kick. In the 18th match minute, Mulartshütte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Mertens to maneuver through the defense. Pütz's attack was well implemented in the 21st minute, but when Fritz Wehrmann was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After 24 played minutes Mulartshütte FC got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Mertens. Pütz's Jens Humpkamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sören de Raaf in the 31st minute of play. After 31 played minutes Pütz got a freekick which was hit by Armin Walter. Tommi Alt might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jens Humpkamp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tommi Alt ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommi Alt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jens Humpkamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, Pütz's goal looked a bit too open when Tommi Alt came free, but Jens Humpkamp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gus Petig fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Kludig having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tommi Alt to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Thomas Holtzmann shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jens Humpkamp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sören de Raaf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sören de Raaf scored 1-1 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jens Humpkamp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sören de Raaf recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Kludig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gus Petig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Fritz Wehrmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pütz's zone, Sören de Raaf stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jens Humpkamp came out of the goal and Sören de Raaf tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 2-1 became the score in the 76th minute when Sören de Raaf elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Pütz's goalkeeper Jens Humpkamp, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Mulartshütte FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gus Petig came free, but Michael Kludig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fritz Wehrmann came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Pütz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Wehrmann couldn't finish the play. Tommi Alt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pütz's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
