Sascha Rauchbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Maximilian-Michael Gilessen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stockborn FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximilian-Michael Gilessen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sascha Rauchbach breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roland Böhringer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ralf Ovekamp having to make a save. Stockborn FSV's Ralf Ovekamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Tuke in the 16th minute of play. Mirco Körber's late challenge caught a Ehlerstorf FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mirco Körber helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Mirco Körber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Christopher Overath sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Stockborn FSV's Ralf Ovekamp didn't even have to move. Sandro Merk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximilian-Michael Gilessen in the 27th minute of play forced Ehlerstorf FC's goalkeeper Sascha Rauchbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Ehlerstorf FC's Roland Böhringer dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Tuke in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralf Ovekamp saved Stockborn FSV from getting behind. Stockborn FSV's Ralf Ovekamp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Tuke in the 38th minute of play. Ehlerstorf FC's Peter Tuke got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim Stockbauer kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Ralf Ovekamp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Tuke in the 43rd minute of the match. Peter Tuke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Ralf Ovekamp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Peter Tuke might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ralf Ovekamp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peter Tuke ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Böhringer in the 62nd minute of play forced Stockborn FSV's goalkeeper Ralf Ovekamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ehlerstorf FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Henrik Finken hit a great ball. 68 minutes into the match, Ehlerstorf FC's goalkeeper Sascha Rauchbach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jochen Jucknischke. When Mirco Körber was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 69 minutes had been played. In the 70th match minute, Stockborn FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mirco Körber to maneuver through the defense. If Peter Tuke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Böhringer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Stockborn FSV booed when Ehlerstorf FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Ruthus didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 78 in the game by Sandro Merk from a close distance when the talented Sascha Rauchbach managed to make a qualified save. Ehlerstorf FC's players were relieved. Peter Tuke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ehlerstorf FC's Roland Böhringer fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Ralf Ovekamp came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Ehlerstorf FC's Roland Böhringer. But to his dismay, Roland Böhringer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Sandro Merk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute.
