Maximilian-Michael Gilessen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Michael Seib having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruce Burgsmüller in the 15th minute of play forced Stockborn FSV's goalkeeper Ralf Ovekamp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grünhof FSV's Bruce Burgsmüller got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ralf Ovekamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Burgsmüller in the 18th minute of play. Reinhard Ungewitter's late challenge caught a Stockborn FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinhard Ungewitter helped the player get up and apologised. In the 21st minute, Reinhard Ungewitter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Stockborn FSV booed when Grünhof FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rüdiger Hildebrandt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandro Merk in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Michael Seib, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fredi Hensel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralf Ovekamp having to interfere. Heinrich Schneider charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heinrich Schneider the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 30 minutes into the game, one of Grünhof FSV:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 32nd minute of the game, Stockborn FSV got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Reinhard Ungewitter was shown his second yellow card after 39 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 55th minute, Maximilian-Michael Gilessen made a precise shot to the right of Michael Seib. Grünhof FSV's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Grünhof FSV's Ruth Ernst got a free kick in the 60th minute. Maximilian-Michael Gilessen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
