Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, Jens Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sören Schrappe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justin Jannasch in the 8th minute of play. After 15 minutes, Martin Dahlbeck mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Göttin and the Gerspoint players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Dahlbeck hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Justin Jannasch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Sören Schrappe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rafael Finkel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Per Mahlberg came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Göttin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Mahlberg couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Rafael Finkel sped through Göttin's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sören Schrappe. Göttin's Sören Schrappe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Finkel in the 30th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Gerspoint's goal looked a bit too open when Per Mahlberg came free, but Heiko Gubitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Göttin's zone, Rafael Finkel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sören Schrappe came out of the goal and Rafael Finkel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Gerspoint were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafael Finkel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Göttin's goalkeeper Sören Schrappe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Justin Jannasch. Martin Dahlbeck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes Gerspoint got a freekick which was hit by Henning Overath. Per Mahlberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Heiko Gubitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Heyckendorf in the 63rd minute of play forced Gerspoint's goalkeeper Heiko Gubitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gerspoint's zone, Per Mahlberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heiko Gubitz came out of the goal and Per Mahlberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Gerspoint's Rafael Finkel in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Göttin's goalie prevented a goal. Göttin's Karl Heyckendorf got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Per Mahlberg came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Göttin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per Mahlberg couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Gerspoint's goal looked a bit too open when Per Mahlberg came free, but Heiko Gubitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Rafael Finkel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gerspoint's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafael Finkel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sören Schrappe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christoph Velhorn during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Christoph Velhorn kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Göttin's Sören Schrappe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Göttin from getting a goal against them. Heiko Gubitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl Heyckendorf in the 97th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
