In the 9th minute Jörg Wessendorf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oliver Scherer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conny Hahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Witold Anton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Emanuel Basten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Unterulpoint's Oliver Scherer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörg Wessendorf in the 22nd minute of play. Alessandro Bresack's late challenge caught a Unterulpoint's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alessandro Bresack helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Suttrop FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Alessandro Bresack hit a great ball. Rigo Polzin hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Jörg Wessendorf might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oliver Scherer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jörg Wessendorf ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Unterulpoint's Oliver Scherer got control of the ball when Emanuel Basten tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Emanuel Basten came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Suttrop FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Basten couldn't finish the play. Witold Anton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conny Hahn, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Alessandro Bresack was shown his second yellow card after 37 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jörg Wessendorf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Suttrop FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörg Wessendorf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Scherer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Abts in the 47th minute of play forced Suttrop FC's goalkeeper Witold Anton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

54 minutes into the match, Jork Kerth sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Witold Anton threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Jork Kerth this time. Unterulpoint were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Suttrop FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jork Kerth took the corner. Jork Kerth walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After 59 played minutes Suttrop FC got a freekick which was hit by Jörg Wessendorf. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Abts in the 61st minute of play forced Suttrop FC's goalkeeper Witold Anton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Conny Hahn took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Witold Anton to make any attempt to save it. Conny Hahn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Witold Anton having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Suttrop FC's Jörg Wessendorf got a free kick in the 69th minute. Conny Hahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 played minutes Suttrop FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Mittrenga. Sascha Lintner's late challenge caught a Unterulpoint's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
