Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Blue Lions FC's Dankward Hagen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dankward Hagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirco Kitzmann having to interfere. Dankward Hagen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 25 minutes into the match, Blue Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Duttenhöfer came free, but Safet Schramm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blue Lions FC's Safet Schramm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Lions FC from getting a goal against them. When Sonny Dahms came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Blue Lions FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sonny Dahms couldn't finish the play. Günther Fuchs charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Günther Fuchs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, FC Veitshöchheim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Günther Fuchs to maneuver through the defense. If Graham Wiedmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th match minute, Blue Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Udo Menzel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Victor Duttenhöfer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Safet Schramm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Duttenhöfer in the 40th minute of the match. If Graham Wiedmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in FC Veitshöchheim's zone, Dankward Hagen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mirco Kitzmann came out of the goal and Dankward Hagen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Safet Schramm acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Oswald Wick. Mirco Kitzmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dankward Hagen, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Duttenhöfer to strike the kick off in the second half. If Sonny Dahms had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Victor Duttenhöfer came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the FC Veitshöchheim fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Duttenhöfer couldn't finish the play. Dankward Hagen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirco Kitzmann having to interfere. Graham Wiedmann might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Safet Schramm. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Graham Wiedmann ran back to his position shaking his head. Graham Wiedmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Duttenhöfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Safet Schramm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Veitshöchheim's Mirco Kitzmann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dankward Hagen in the 73rd minute of play. Gerrit Betz hit a great ball. Safet Schramm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Duttenhöfer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Victor Duttenhöfer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Safet Schramm was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. If Graham Wiedmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes FC Veitshöchheim got a freekick which was hit by Victor Duttenhöfer. FC Veitshöchheim were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Blue Lions FC for a fine match.
