An unexpectedly hard shot by Matt Kleinhansl in the 10th minute of play forced Holzolling FSV's goalkeeper Leon Weniger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 10 minutes, Severin Naud mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holzolling FSV and the FC DEMA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of FC DEMA booed when Holzolling FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severin Naud didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holzolling FSV's Leon Weniger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matt Kleinhansl in the 33rd minute of play. If Zoran Bauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Weniger stood somewhat misplaced when Matt Kleinhansl came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 42 minute. Matt Kleinhansl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC DEMA's Rudi Wagner got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The wind increased when Matt Kleinhansl made the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Holzolling FSV's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lars Böcker who took care of the corner kick. Max Geladaris was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Rudi Wagner came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the FC DEMA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rudi Wagner couldn't finish the play. Matt Kleinhansl struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Leon Weniger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC DEMA. Matt Kleinhansl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC DEMA's zone, Björn Beier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ludwig Bargon came out of the goal and Björn Beier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zoran Bauer charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zoran Bauer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC DEMA getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Zoran Bauer hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Matt Kleinhansl notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Holzolling FSV's Leon Weniger. Leon Weniger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rudi Wagner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Matt Kleinhansl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon Weniger. Holzolling FSV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matt Kleinhansl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matt Kleinhansl in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leon Weniger saved Holzolling FSV from getting behind. FC DEMA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
