Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wulf Siese got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Löveling's zone, Krister Nunold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Groneberg came out of the goal and Krister Nunold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute Bastian Frommelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niko Echterhoff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Görschnitz FC's Niko Echterhoff played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wulf Siese in the 9th minute of play. A hard shot 12 in the game by Felix Schmal from a close distance when the talented Fred Groneberg managed to make a qualified save. Löveling's players were relieved. Fred Groneberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Schmal in the 15th minute of play. Tino Schäffner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Felix Schmal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Löveling's Fred Groneberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Löveling from getting a goal against them. Görschnitz FC's Brian Staheli was substituted for Dante Greve. Erhard Westphal hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the match, Löveling's goalkeeper Fred Groneberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tino Schäffner. After 30 played minutes Löveling got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Frommelt. Deniz Amstutz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Niko Echterhoff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthäus Skrentny kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match, Tino Schäffner got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fred Groneberg was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fred Groneberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunter Dohr, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Staheli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fred Groneberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Schmal in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Felix Schmal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Görschnitz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Schmal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fred Groneberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Löveling's Fredrik Banz got a free kick in the 47th minute. Tino Schäffner might have been able to make a better finish in the 48th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fred Groneberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tino Schäffner ran back to his position shaking his head. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Wulf Siese was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Löveling's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 59th match minute, Görschnitz FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Axel Kaltenbach to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Görschnitz FC's Niko Echterhoff got control of the ball when Deniz Amstutz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Niko Echterhoff made an important save on a dangerous shot by Deniz Amstutz in the 67th minute. In the 69th minute, Löveling's Paul Richerzhagen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Paul Richerzhagen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Löveling protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Paul Richerzhagen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Löveling getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Paul Richerzhagen hit a great ball. 72 minutes into the game, Bastian Frommelt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Löveling's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Görschnitz FC the free kick. After 72 played minutes Löveling got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Frommelt. Lauritz Bucher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Groneberg having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Deniz Amstutz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Löveling's supporters rose to their feet, but Deniz Amstutz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When the final whistle went the supporters of Löveling were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Görschnitz FC side.
