Erik Wolters started the match with the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Yusufstinktnachkacke FC's Corvinus Steenkiste tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Karsten Waack's late challenge caught a Darfeld FSV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karsten Waack helped the player get up and apologised. Karsten Waack kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Robert Zielonka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julien-Nils Fleischer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meinolf Haupt in the 31st minute of play. Timo Umlauf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Darfeld FSV booed when Yusufstinktnachkacke FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefano Eilers didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Karsten Waack had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 43 minutes into the match, Darfeld FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Meinolf Haupt came free, but Julien-Nils Fleischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timo Umlauf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ismail Buhmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leik Rieger was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 47th minute. Yusufstinktnachkacke FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

52 minutes into the match, Darfeld FSV's goal looked a bit too open when Meinolf Haupt came free, but Julien-Nils Fleischer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rdth minute of the game Meinolf Haupt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Darfeld FSV's Julien-Nils Fleischer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Darfeld FSV's Boris Thülig got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 83rd minute, Meinolf Haupt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yusufstinktnachkacke FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Darfeld FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timo Umlauf was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismail Buhmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Wolters in the 94th minute of the match.
