The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anton Liess was the one to do the kick off. BSC Young Boys were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Mühlrath FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gerrit Böhm took the corner. The corner ended in Gerrit Böhm almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mühlrath FC's Danny Seelmann did a great save. Meik Zahn hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Alois Wirtz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Linus Böwering sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Alois Wirtz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Etienne Behnisch hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Danny Seelmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alois Wirtz, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 85 played minutes Alois Wirtz rounded Mühlrath FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-1. Alois Wirtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Danny Seelmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danny Seelmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alois Wirtz's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. A hard shot by Michael Betz from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Danny Seelmann's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When the final whistle sounded BSC Young Boys left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Mühlrath FC.
