Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wendelin Hennicke started the match with the kick off. Danny Seelmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wendelin Hennicke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Mike Bollwerk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ottershofen's Wendelin Hennicke in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gerd Schellheimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danny Seelmann having to make a save. Quirin Michels received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Danny Seelmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wendelin Hennicke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastian Tepper's late challenge caught a Ottershofen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Tepper helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ottershofen booed when Mühlrath FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Tepper didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Ottershofen's Wendelin Hennicke sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Danny Seelmann narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Wolfgang Andreowsky was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mühlrath FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ottershofen the free kick. After a defensive mix-up in Mühlrath FC's zone, Wendelin Hennicke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danny Seelmann came out of the goal and Wendelin Hennicke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Gerd Schellheimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danny Seelmann made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Mike Bollwerk sent off a good shot on target. Mike Bollwerk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Danny Seelmann made a huge save. A collision led to Ottershofen getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Thilo Tieße hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lennart Schneidereit to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wendelin Hennicke in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Danny Seelmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Danny Seelmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wendelin Hennicke's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Danny Seelmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wendelin Hennicke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Bollwerk hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Danny Seelmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wendelin Hennicke went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 80th match minute, Ottershofen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wendelin Hennicke to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Wendelin Hennicke's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danny Seelmann was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 94 minutes into the match, Mühlrath FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mike Bollwerk came free, but Danny Seelmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Anton Liess made a precise shot to the right of Palle Sandt. Ottershofen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ottershofen had played much better football throughout.
