Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FSV Thale 22's Johan Poß started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd match minute, Eischeid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Vorwerk to maneuver through the defense. Eischeid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Johan Poß scored to the left of an out of position Florian Kannegiesser, making the score, 1-0. If Ubbo Dohrmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Georg Bontz fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FSV Thale 22's protests and gave Georg Bontz a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes FSV Thale 22 got a freekick which was hit by Georg Bontz. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascal Emmel in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johannes-Markus Bix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute Pascal Emmel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johannes-Markus Bix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Florian Kannegiesser made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Poß in the 19th minute of play. Johan Poß sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubbo Dohrmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Florian Kannegiesser made a huge save. 30 minutes into the match, FSV Thale 22's goal looked a bit too open when Pascal Emmel came free, but Johannes-Markus Bix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 33 played minutes FSV Thale 22 got a freekick which was hit by Pitt Busshoff. If Pascal Emmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florian Kannegiesser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johan Poß, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Eischeid's Tim Vorwerk got a free kick in the 41st minute. Florian Kannegiesser was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Heinrich Wendlandt.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernhardt Berger stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Jürgen Wiemer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FSV Thale 22 and the Eischeid players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Pascal Emmel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eischeid's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascal Emmel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johannes-Markus Bix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 57th minute Pitt Busshoff shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florian Kannegiesser saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubbo Dohrmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pascal Emmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johannes-Markus Bix having to interfere. Eischeid's Pascal Emmel got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 played minutes, FSV Thale 22's David Hocke shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Florian Kannegiesser came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FSV Thale 22 reached it. Florian Kannegiesser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubbo Dohrmann in the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the game, Ubbo Dohrmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Florian Kannegiesser was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, Eischeid's goal looked a bit too open when Ubbo Dohrmann came free, but Florian Kannegiesser reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FSV Thale 22's Johan Poß got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florian Kannegiesser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubbo Dohrmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florian Kannegiesser came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by FSV Thale 22's Johan Poß. But to his dismay, Johan Poß quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Florian Kannegiesser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubbo Dohrmann in the 94th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Eischeid's zone, Ubbo Dohrmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florian Kannegiesser came out of the goal and Ubbo Dohrmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
