SSC Eberswalde's Hilbert Bardhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Komp in the 13th minute of play. Hilbert Bardhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gordon Komp in the 16th minute of the match. Hilbert Bardhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Ackermann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Klara Propst struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Frank Lange didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SSC Eberswalde. Hilbert Bardhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Ackermann, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Eckart Wieczorek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gordon Komp in the 27th minute of play forced SSC Eberswalde's goalkeeper Hilbert Bardhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gordon Komp in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilbert Bardhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Axel Eberl took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hilbert Bardhan. Hilbert Bardhan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Eckart Wieczorek's late challenge caught a Sascha22322's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eckart Wieczorek helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Rudi Terstappen managed to get in a good position for a shot. SSC Eberswalde's supporters rose to their feet, but Rudi Terstappen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frank Lange breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sascha22322 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gordon Komp was the one to do the kick off. Gordon Komp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilbert Bardhan having to interfere. When Özgür Berres fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SSC Eberswalde's protests and gave Özgür Berres a yellow card for diving instead. Özgür Berres kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When Emanuel Ackermann came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sascha22322 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Ackermann couldn't finish the play. After having played for 56 minutes, Rudi Terstappen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
