A collision led to FC Rennertshofen getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Walther Brocke hit a great ball. Heinrich Götze stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernando Burger's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. 10 minutes into the game, FC Rennertshofen's Hernando Burger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Heinrich Götze made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Heinrich Götze made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernando Burger in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Hernando Burger notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's Heinrich Götze. Heinrich Götze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jerome Utzig hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's zone, Hernando Burger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Heinrich Götze came out of the goal and Hernando Burger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's Wilhelm Bugiel got a free kick in the 19th minute. Heinrich Götze showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernando Burger, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Joachimsmeier came free, but Heinrich Götze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Frank Joachimsmeier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heinrich Götze saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Hernando Burger made a precise shot to the right of Heinrich Götze. FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Kern during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabian Kern kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, Eidur Neuhausen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, FC Rennertshofen's Ismail Lösekrug tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Frank Joachimsmeier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabian Kern to make the kick off. Ismail Lösekrug shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Federico Lausberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Murat Hartleitner, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to FC Rennertshofen getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Walther Brocke hit a great ball. Fabian Kern blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Lausberg having to make a save. Frank Joachimsmeier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Heinrich Götze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Joachimsmeier might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Heinrich Götze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Joachimsmeier ran back to his position shaking his head. When Fabian Kern came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabian Kern couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß's goal looked a bit too open when Hernando Burger came free, but Heinrich Götze reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The FC Pirmasens Blau Weiß fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Rennertshofen were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
