Steinhorst FSV's Benedikt Gehling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anno Burger in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Steinhorst FSV booed when FSV Spremberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornelius Spruth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Steinhorst FSV's Otmar Kleinböck got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Otmar Weippert got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Erich Auerbach had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Semjon Jahnke managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Steinhorst FSV's Benjamin Kornrumpf fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 37 minutes into the game, Kornelius Spruth was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FSV Spremberg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Steinhorst FSV the free kick. After a rather tough play, FSV Spremberg's Kornelius Spruth got a free kick in the 37th minute. Erich Auerbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Semjon Jahnke having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of FSV Spremberg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Steinhorst FSV:s goal. FSV Spremberg:s Semjon Jahnke showed great skill when he stopped Jafar Wohlgemuth:s penalty. If Emilio Neubauer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jafar Wohlgemuth kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, FSV Spremberg's Daniel Merk broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otmar Weippert stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, FSV Spremberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gideon Blech to maneuver through the defense. Benjamin Kornrumpf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Semjon Jahnke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th match minute, Steinhorst FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Neubauer to maneuver through the defense. Anno Burger took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benedikt Gehling. Benedikt Gehling dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Steinhorst FSV's Benjamin Kornrumpf got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in FSV Spremberg's zone, Erich Auerbach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Semjon Jahnke came out of the goal and Erich Auerbach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Steinhorst FSV's goalkeeper Benedikt Gehling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Steinhorst FSV's Benjamin Kornrumpf got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benedikt Gehling made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Anno Burger sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 77 minutes, Benedikt Gehling successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of FSV Spremberg booed when Steinhorst FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jafar Wohlgemuth didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Otmar Weippert, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 81 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Benedikt Gehling was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Erich Auerbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gideon Blech during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FSV Spremberg getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gideon Blech hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Otmar Weippert lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Benedikt Gehling. Benedikt Gehling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otmar Weippert, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After 93 played minutes FSV Spremberg got a freekick which was hit by Noel Reinauer. Semjon Jahnke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erich Auerbach in the 95th minute of play. The Steinhorst FSV supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FSV Spremberg's performance. The match ended with a win for FSV Spremberg.
