After 5 minutes of play, ASV Stockenroht's Matthias Knoll made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benny Pelzer was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 9 minutes of play, STV Horst's Jörg Kolbe made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Falk Hartl was left in no man's land by his defense there! Heiner Pientak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthias Knoll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Benny Pelzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Krützfeld charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Krützfeld the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Walther Andelfinger sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and STV Horst's Benny Pelzer didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, STV Horst's Frido Krügel got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the game, Heiner Pientak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Benny Pelzer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benni Caspary in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falk Hartl prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Knoll in the 31st minute of play forced STV Horst's goalkeeper Benny Pelzer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, STV Horst's Benny Pelzer got control of the ball when Heiner Pientak tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, ASV Stockenroht's Heiner Pientak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benny Pelzer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to STV Horst getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Frido Krügel hit a great ball. Matthias Knoll received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Benny Pelzer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The wind increased when Matthias Knoll made the kick off in the second half. Benny Pelzer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthias Knoll in the 52nd minute of the match. After 54th play minutes Matthias Knoll shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Benny Pelzer and just under the crossbar into goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Benni Caspary managed to get in a good position for a shot. STV Horst's supporters rose to their feet, but Benni Caspary was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Falk Hartl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benni Caspary fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falk Hartl having to interfere. Frido Krügel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. STV Horst's Benny Pelzer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Knoll in the 70th minute of play. In the 72ndth minute of the game Benni Caspary who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ASV Stockenroht's Falk Hartl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of ASV Stockenroht booed when STV Horst was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frido Krügel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benny Pelzer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Knoll in the 78th minute of play. If Benni Caspary had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörg Kolbe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Falk Hartl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. If Heiner Pientak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
