The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gustav Schabbel made the kick off which started today's match. Ephraim Rexhaus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th match minute, Berge United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dierk Demelbauer to maneuver through the defense. Dierk Demelbauer took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Erik Scherhag. Erik Scherhag dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Ephraim Rexhaus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 18 played minutes Berge United got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Michael Bechstein. Ephraim Rexhaus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Mathias Michael Bechstein had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volkmar Glatzer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Niklaus Schubert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arpad Ernesti charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arpad Ernesti the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th minute, Arpad Ernesti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eintracht Frankfurt's Erik Scherhag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Michael Bechstein in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Michael Bechstein in the 31st minute of play forced Eintracht Frankfurt's goalkeeper Erik Scherhag to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes, Gustav Schabbel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Berge United and the Eintracht Frankfurt players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Berge United's Gustav Schabbel got a free kick in the 34th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ingvar Heintz made the kick off in the second half. Erik Scherhag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derek Mrozik in the 55th minute of the match. Erik Scherhag made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Schabbel in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Dierk Demelbauer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Erik Scherhag. Eintracht Frankfurt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dierk Demelbauer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Erik Scherhag showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Schabbel, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Volkmar Glatzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niklaus Schubert having to interfere. Eintracht Frankfurt's Erik Scherhag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Derek Mrozik in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Berge United's goalkeeper Niklaus Schubert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Volkmar Glatzer. After a defensive mix-up in Berge United's zone, Boris Moll stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niklaus Schubert came out of the goal and Boris Moll tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Volkmar Glatzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Volkmar Glatzer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gustav Schabbel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Scherhag showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Michael Bechstein in the 86th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Eintracht Frankfurt's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Schabbel came free, but Erik Scherhag reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eintracht Frankfurt's Erik Scherhag played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dierk Demelbauer in the 95th minute of play.
