Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Zufallstreffer's Axel Woldag started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Ingmar Nettig reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niklaus Schubert. The goal made the score 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ingmar Nettig managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zufallstreffer's supporters rose to their feet, but Ingmar Nettig was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niklaus Schubert breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cyril Heimann kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Derek Mrozik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Derek Mrozik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cyril Heimann was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 20 minutes had been played. In the 20th match minute, FC Zufallstreffer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyril Heimann to maneuver through the defense. When Berge United's Gustav Schabbel in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Zufallstreffer's goalie prevented a goal. Derek Mrozik's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henrik Franiel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Axel Woldag charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Axel Woldag the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ingmar Nettig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the game, Rik Kapell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Zufallstreffer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berge United the free kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustav Schabbel was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, FC Zufallstreffer's Henrik Franiel got control of the ball when Derek Mrozik tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Axel Woldag had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Henrik Franiel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustav Schabbel, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Ingmar Nettig scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niklaus Schubert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niklaus Schubert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ingmar Nettig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Davor Burkert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Franiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Schabbel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustav Schabbel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
